East west, north best: Pre-school
There is a deadly virus. Preschoolers fold back on a shrinking slump of ground. Not much more penetrates the ever-expanding world outside their shelter, not even through screens. Most surprising of all is that it is far safer than here. Yes, COVID-19 is threatening and hitting the northern hemisphere harder than the southern so far. An excellent moment to reflect on how we let our toddlers see the world.
