No life without water, a day out with Dulce from Guatemala: Photo set and teaching material
Get to know Dulce, her country Guatemala and the Broederlijk
Delen campaign through ten A3 photos, an accompanying story and a
manual with lesson suggestions for the teacher.
The photo set is set up for use in a kamishibai theater and is
built around the story of the five-year-old girl Dulce and her mom
Ana. By looking at the photos and listening to the story, the
preschoolers experience what a child's day looks like in the
Guatemalan mountain village of Granadillo. The common thread of the
story is water: in what ways does Dulce come into contact with it
during the day?
A sense of belonging is stimulated through recognizable situations and feelings that match the world of young children. In this way, empathy, respect and openness are developed.
