Travel skills for healthcare teachers: Two-day refresher training

This training, organized by IDEWE, is intended for teachers who want to increase or renew their practical knowledge of travel skills and pass this knowledge on to Healthcare students. Participants in this course are open to simulation learning and wish to integrate this working method into their lessons.

• Day 1: Movement skills and knowledge of aids;

As a healthcare teacher, it is important that you make your students aware that every care recipient is different, and that in every situation the right choice must be made as to how the transfer can be safe and comfortable for both the care recipient and the care provider.

• Day 2: Travel skills in education and exchange of good practices;

During day two we will continue to work on relocation skills and discuss specific cases and questions that are relevant to the participants. There is the opportunity to share experiences and exchange good practices.
