The film also holds up a mirror to the viewer: to what extent do we allow ourselves to be guided by appearance, in ourselves and in others?
The film is not too long (109') and therefore very suitable for use in the classroom. The discussion questions on MTM's site are excellent and very useful for the theme of beauty, appearance, suffering, etc.
