In the last century, asbestos was used in countless applications. After all, it can be easily mined, it is cheap, and has a lot of good properties. The fibre is heat-resistant, thermally and acoustically insulating, non-combustible, chemically inert, resistant to micro-organisms, abrasion-resistant, etc. There are widely known applications of asbestos, but also many lesser-known applications, especially indoors.
