Google: Free functionalities of Google Meet

Many educational institutions are currently facing challenges from the corona virus. That's why Google for Education is now making some of the advanced features of Hangouts Meet available for free.

Update September 2020:
From March to September 2020, all G Suite customers had access to advanced Google Meet video conferencing features. These features include larger meetings, the ability to record meetings, and live streaming in the domain.

After September 30, 2020, access to advanced Meet features will be determined by your G Suite account and version. For example, schools can continue to record meetings until temporary recordings become available by the end of 2020. Temporary recordings allow G Suite for Education meeting organizers to record meetings and share recordings within their organization. Temporary recordings expire 30 days after they are recorded. Also, temporary recordings cannot be shared or downloaded outside of the meeting organizer's domain, even if it falls within the 30-day sharing period.
Meetings recorded during the promotional period will remain in the meeting organizer's Drive.
Schools will not be able to live stream Meet meetings after September 30.
