FM audio transmission systems


Hearing hearing impaired often hear the vowels of a word but no longer the consonants. They do not recognize the word and can not understand it. Especially in group conversations or when there is background noise, speech recognition becomes very difficult. Speech recognition means the speaker can hear and understand.

An FM audio transmission system supports voice recognition. The system consists of a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter puts the speaker's voice, spoken in the microphone, into FM radio waves and sends it to the receiver. The receiver recovers the FM radio waves to sound and brings the sound immediately to the ear, hearing aid or cochlear implant. The transmission of the sound via FM radio waves eliminates the negative effects of ambient noise, reverberation and distance and increases speech recognition. The FM audio transmission system realizes a perfect signal / noise ratio: single (audio) signal and no background noise.
