Stork

The stork, also called uiver, eiber or stork, is a large white bird with black wing edges and red legs and beak.

A stork is about 1.30 m tall. The male stork weighs about 4.5 kg, a female stork about 3.5 kg. A stork can average 30 years old.

Like most of his relatives, a stork mainly eats frogs and large insects, but also young birds, lizards and rodents are on the menu.
