If Pjotr parents die in the invasion of Poland, he is placed in an orphanage. He must live under appalling conditions.
A commission in the orphanage that the boys would approve "his Aryan 'on their own. Appears one day Pyotr jumps with his blond looks straight out, he must be saved for the fatherland. An important family will like to adopt him.
And that happens. Professor Kaltenbach and his wife are honored that Pyotr at home may come with them. But Pyotr is not the ideal 'People Deutscher "they had in mind. He forms his own ideas.
