Sm @ rtbib inspiration bundle
Sm @ rtbib is ...
... a game, developed by the Regional Oriented Library Policy Brussels in collaboration with the non-profit organization Mediaraven, to show young people in school (and free time) the various tools of the Brussels public libraries. The cultural-educational components are dealt with in a playful media way.
… A voyage of discovery in the library and on the way to school. With this game, the Brussels libraries want to build a bridge to education and stimulate young people to continue working at school with the knowledge and skills acquired from the game. In addition to the game itself, both a pre- and post-stage are provided.
From a central goose board we lead the young people to digital applications, websites, quality controlled information, etc. Knowledge, skills and attitudes are developed in an environment-oriented activity that helps them grow into active, critical and participatory citizens.
The target group is 12-14 year olds. The game can also be used in a final stage of primary education. Due to the great diversity of the 62 questions regarding content, creativity, duration and digital resources, we create great flexibility, allowing the game to be adapted to the needs of the class.
