Learned young: How do you introduce children to agriculture and food?

In this booklet from Field Explorers , children discover the basics of agriculture and horticulture and the origin of food.
The tips are interspersed with interesting conversations.

Children no longer know where our food comes from. They are surprised that tomatoes grow on a plant. They are frightened that eggs come from chicken poop. There is a gap between the citizen on the one hand and the farmer (and more generally the origin of our food) on the other.
