Small steps: Interactive web comic about the First World War
Following the television series Kleine handen in a big war an interactive webcomic was released, which makes pupils familiar with the First World War in a responsible, but playful manner.
A strong visual design and poignant stories from original diaries bring the young players back a hundred years back in time, when airplanes and electricity were something special and the radio did not yet exist.
In four adventurous missions they experience dilemmas that blur the boundary between right and wrong. Metered information at relevant moments provides a deeper understanding of the historical context.
