We vragen ons allemaal af hoe een robot zoals Robot ‘Flippy’ 150 hamburgers per uur kan bakken en staan verbaasd te kijken naar een smarttoilet dat je nooit moet poetsen, maar dat jou schoonmaakt met warme lucht en warm water. Dit zijn allemaal STEM-projecten waar de componenten Science, Technology, Engineering en Mathematics op interdisciplinaire wijze met elkaar geïntegreerd zijn tot levensechte projecten.

Specifieke leerfilosofie
In deze projecten worden de STEM-componenten niet enkel aan elkaar gekoppeld, maar zit er ook een specifieke leerfilosofie achter die zich focust op de volgende competenties: probleemoplossend denken, creativiteit, kritisch denken en analyseren, teamwerk, digitale geletterdheid, ondernemen en communiceren.
