Written versus verbal communication


There are different ways of communicating, there is a big difference between written communication (written language) and oral communication (spoken language). Miss Julie explains that it is important to know who the recipient of the message is: if it is someone we know well, we use informal language and if it is someone we do not know well, we opt for formal language or standard Dutch.
