The province of Limburg has the lowest number of inhabitants of all Flemish provinces, about 875,000 inhabitants, and also the lowest number of inhabitants per km². This is one of the reasons why Limburg is the greenest province in Flanders. But in the green Limburg you will also find many striking places that have been created by man.
