One billion seconds
On this website, weatherman Frank Deboosere counts to 1 billion. With this project he wants to make people aware that science is spilled with large numbers. The VRT weather forecaster wants to make it clear that one billion is a very, very large number. This scientific experiment started on May 25, 2012 at 07:45 AM. During the entire period, of about 32 years, in addition to The One Billion Second Clock, interesting tidbits about the respective numbers will appear on the website.
