VirtualBox: A virtual operating system on your PC


VirtualBox is a free computer operating systems to run inside a (different) system. This is based on virtualization. VirtualBox is available for multiple operating systems and multiple languages.

VirtualBox comes in two types: the complete version under the VirtualBox Personal Use and Evaluation License, and the open source edition under the GPL license.
It should be noted that lack some of the major features in the open source edition, such as USB and SATA-support.
