Portable reading systems for visually impaired in the classroom


Reading is a skill that is inextricably linked to the following lesson in class. Those who, because of visual impairment, truncated know when reading text, needs a helping hand. This will help the visually impaired for many years provided by beeldschermloepen with a plate camera.

Until recently these were quite extensive exhibits, with two cameras (one on the board and the other focused on the course book) to read all the material record, then to the desired magnification on a screen to show. These exhibits were so large that there was no question of them from one classroom to another to take (let alone every evening to take home).

There is now rapidly change! Thanks to falling prices and the miniaturization of video cameras and laptops n the fast connectivity between the two components (usb 2 and firewire), an affordable portable systems recently wl possible.

Equipment manufacturers have understood this and throw massive small camera for classroom use on the market. For schoolchildren, this is surely a landmark in the history tools.

An additional advantage of all this: by the laptop as the central spindle for the reading device from using school-goer gets a de instrument on its Missing dat alleen much more functionality than it has read.
