Technique: Make name card.

It is about making a name card at the beginning of the year.
It consists of two parts: making a (strong) support + drawing your name. The name is then stuck on the support. All drawings and images are from own hand.

Goal:

  • simple but neat to make
  • can be made from cardboard paper (A4 size) (just sturdy paper) ... or from a 200 x 250 mm (3 or 5 mm thick) foam board (you get 12 images from one large foam board (70 x 100 cm))
  • By making support and name separate and only merging at the end, a student can easily start again if something went wrong with one of the two parts.
  • quick to make. Under ideal conditions in one lesson hour.
  • Usable and transportable in all other lessons.

I made a version 3.1 that is simple.

3.2 adds something else: copying the name sketch onto a piece of lime paper and gluing it onto the support.

KP: means Cardboard paper
FB: foam board.

The teacher makes an example in advance.
You can opt for free creative drawing together with teacher PO? of the name, .. or rather according to standards that should improve readability.
