“Een speelplaats met toekomst vertrekt vanuit een visie als onderdeel van het eigen pedagogische project,
wordt samen met kinderen, ouders en de buurt vormgegeven en is een dynamische plek in de tijd.Ze dient als speelplek voor de leerlingen van de school, maar ook als gedeelde plaats voor ontmoeting en ontspanning in de buurt.
Met de juiste ingrepen zijn het kleine ecosystemen als buffer tegen klimaatveranderingsprocessen
en maken ze zoveel mogelijk verbinding met de publieke ruimte in de omgeving.Een ideale speelplaats daagt uit als leerplek, is kwalitatief ingericht en gevarieerd,
zorgt voor contact met de natuur en draagt bij aan de mentale en fysieke gezondheid van kinderen en jongeren.”
