Elderly or non-native speakers are often the most vulnerable groups. The need for clear communication in healthcare is great in our multicultural and aging society.

Thomas More university of applied sciences conducted an extensive research into low-threshold communication in the healthcare sector, putting health literacy in Flanders on the map.
