Learning in prison: EPALE e-zine
From 24 to 28 April 2017, the Flemish Support Center for Adult Education (Vocvo) organized an international training week under the title 'Education behind Belgian Bars'. Nineteen people from six countries took part. During the training they got an idea about how education in prison in Belgium is organized. There were visits to four prisons on the program: Mechelen, Antwerp, Beveren and Leuven. All participants shared with each other how education in prison in their country is at work. In this EPALE e-zine you will find a report about the training week, but also a selection of everything that already appeared in EPALE about learning in prison.
This ezine is in English because of the international nature of the training week.
