Publi Ville: Online games about advertising literacy


Children see advertising all around them. Previously mainly on TV, on the streets or in newspapers and magazines, but today also online, for example when they play games or watch videos. It is important that children learn to deal with all those advertising messages, so that they maintain control over what they really think and want. We call that 'advertising wisdom'.

The digital version of Publi Ville consists of a series of fun mini-games that you can play as a class or in a group. Ideal for teaching advertising literacy in a fun way in the second or third grade.

What is covered
Publi Ville consists of six games:

  • learning to recognize the wheel of fortune about logos;
  • memory about brands, logos and slogans;
  • swiper to recognize advertising offline and online;
  • quiz about tricks used by advertisers;
  • debate about what do you think about advertising;
  • final quiz across all games.
